Compatibility

The firmware is compatible with the following machines:

Prusa i3 MK2.5
Prusa i3 MK2.5S
Prusa i3 MK3
Prusa i3 MK3S

  1. Reconnect the Power Cable Turn the printer ON. Turn the printer ON.

    • Reconnect the Power Cable

  2. Locate the printer USB port And connect it to your computer using a USB cable.

  5. Open Prusa Slicer Use the "Configuration" -> "Flash printer firmware" option Locate the file you previously downloaded and uncompressed.

    • Open Prusa Slicer

    • Use the "Configuration" -> "Flash printer firmware" option

    • Locate the file you previously downloaded and uncompressed.

    • Select the Serial Port connecting to your printer and press Flash!

  6. The Firmware Flasher will perform the update process. Do not disconnect your printer while performing the firmware flash.

    • Wait for the process to complete until the "Flash succeeded!" message shows in your screen.

    • Hit the close button and restart your printer.

    • Almost done. Only one critical step left. Check below.

    • Perform a Factory Reset on your printer and choose ALL DATA to erase old values saved to the EEPROM.

    • If you fail to do so, you will experience under-extrusion.
