Before doing the purchase, be sure your printer can supply enough power. The Mosquito High Temperature Thermistor will require up to 50W.

This thermistor is not linear in its relation between current and temperature, so adjustments have to be made to the firmware, namely an update of the ADC conversion lookup table.

Now, updating the firmware or not will also depend on the firmware your printer is using.

If it is a Duet3D, native support is already enabled. Choose Slice High Temperature Thermistor.

If your 3D printer is using Marlin, the Slice High Temperature Thermistor also has native support. Choose Thermistor #67 in settings.

If you are using firmware that has no native support for this thermistor, you will need to use a different Lookup Table otherwise the printer will show the wrong temperature. You can download the right RC table with ADC here.
