Hi Kraig, most likely you are having a problem with your hotend causing the jams. I would check for heatcreep, partly clogged nozzle, deformed PTFE tube in the hotend, PTFE tube not cut perpendicular at the end causing pockets of melted plastic to jam up inside the hotend.

I have replaced the pfte tube and nozzle as well as the heater block all with e3d v6 components and still have the same issue. Are there any adjustents needed to the firware as when I bought this, it said it was just a plug and play replacement to the stock tevo hotend. I already had a bondtech extruder that i upgraded from the stock tevo extruder.

Martin,

I am now getting a max temp error when i try to preheat the nozzle after replacing the heater block

The temp on the screen is registering 358 and the nozzle is not heated up

Hi, it sounds like there is a problem with the connection of the thermistor, check so that the connector is secure and that the crimping contact did not separate when you changed parts.

by

I checked that Martin and the connections are solid

That was the first thing i thought of. I checked all of the connections and they all seem tight.
