Problems after installing the DDG: bad prints and strange noises

I’ve installed the new DDG in ultimaker2 and installed your provided firmware. However, most of the prints fail and the feeder makes some strange noises. What steps can I take to solve the problem?

Actualización (17/10/19)

I think the motor gear is bumping in the feeder gear…like if it needed to push much harder than expected.

I am using PLA and heated the hotend to 210 celsius. Using original ultimaker 2.85 filament.

Hi Eduardo, i would recommend that you check your Teflon coupler in the hotend so it has not degraded as they can do after long time printing, if it degrades it will partly block the filament channel making extrusion back pressure high. Also check so that the filament slides through the bowden tube easily. Another thing could be a partly clogged nozzle.
